Thursday|| November 1st, 2018 ||
7:00 pm – 8:30 pm (Doors open at 06:30 pm)
NLRG Meeting Room || 717 E Border St. Arlington, TX 76010
At this meeting we will explore what could possibly be hindering your investment properties! What we are talking about is Code Compliance violations!
Real estate compliance encompasses the sets of regulations that govern properties and their components, and regulations are increasing every year. The mission for the city of Arlington’s code compliance is to foster healthy and attractive neighborhoods by gaining compliance of property maintenance and health codes.
But what does this mean for real estate investor opportunities?
When a code enforcement officer or housing inspector finds a property that does not meet the minimum standards will be tagged with a code violation. There are many code violations that you need to be aware of! Properties can be tagged for being unsafe, an eye sore, an exposed roof or a car that is not registered sitting in the driveway. The code violation must be addressed, or you could be faced with a fine!
Don’t go in blind, you won’t want to miss our meeting where we will have Ann Ebert from the code compliance department of Arlington inform you of the in’s and outs of code violations and how they can affect you!
Ann Ebert with the Code Compliance department of Arlington will provide details on:
- Why is it important to be aware of code compliance rules?
- How violations can differ from region and jurisdiction?
- Top 10 Code violations?
So, mark your calendar and join us Thursday night for an in-depth look into code compliance violations and how they impact your investment opportunities!
We hope you will join us!
