To change the secondary video on the homepage:
Login and go to the RealEstate4Life YouTube account, locate the newest video. Follow the steps below:
After the above steps have been followed, you are ready for the next step.
Find the ‘Posts' section of the backend on REIG site.
Duplicate Sample Podcast Post to New Draft. It's the last option when hovering over the Sample post.
This will create a new draft that is filled with sample information.
Click the thumbnail of the sample video and click the edit button [pencil] second from the far right end of the popup bar.
Paste in new video link from the YouTube page/listing.
Once the link is replaced, press embed. Then this step is done.
Above the thumbnail of the video, replace the. Sample text with the title of the Podcast directly from YouTube.
Copy the description from the YT videos information section.
The section above. the video thumbnail is one space for the video description to be placed.
The except section is another space the video description can be placed and shorted if need be. To find this section scroll down on the. right hand menu bar in the post section.
At the top of the post bar, replace the Author name with ‘RealEstate4Life' and change the date of the post to the date listed on the YT video description.
Click the ‘immediately' link and a calendar dropdown will show, where you can input the date from the YT page. The time doesn't really matter, I've changed it to 6:00PM, but it can be any time as long as it's prior to this page being published.
Click the Author dropdown and replace it with “RealEstate4Life”
To find the featured image, scroll down on the post section on the far right of the window. If you have access to the custom thumbnails provided by Ryan, this section is where to input that thumbnail. If not, leave the section as is.
Above the Featured image space and below the Author dropdown, you'll find the category and tags area. Ensure the ticked category is Podcast.
Add tags in the area specified above if there are any to note.
Publish by pressing the button in the top right corner, then view the homepage and test that the video is working properly.
